The latest advice is that Coach Education can resume on 2nd December 2020. inspire2coach is well prepared for the resumption of training in a COVID safe manner. We are in constant communication with the venues hosting our courses to ensure that our advertised dates and courses can go ahead as scheduled.
"LTA Coach Education is provided as part of a formal curriculum and comes under different guidance and criteria to tennis activity, for this reason it is permitted across all three tiers. We will work with facilities and their individual guidance to ensure a covid safe environment for all our courses."
The LTA regularly updates guidance for the UK's tennis organisations.
More information about the 2/11/2020 update:
As you will no doubt be aware, over the weekend, the UK Government has determined that it is necessary for England to re-enter lock-down to save lives.
It is already clear that Coach Education will not be able to continue during the lock-down. To do our part in keeping people safe inspire2coach will need re-schedule Coach Education training and delay the start of new courses. If a course you are enrolled on is affected we will contact you with information and new dates as soon as we are able.
We are sure that you can appreciate that this news has created a lot of uncertainty and that we are working hard to get information for you. So, we really appreciate your patience whilst we adjust our scheduling.
More information about the 27/10/2020 update:
The LTA have been able to make clear the position with regards to Coach Education.
Coach Education is considered both a work and education environment and comes under different guidance and criteria to tennis activity. For this reason it is not affected by recent changes. However, please note, this guidance does not supersede local lockdowns where the decision has been made to close venues.
We are in constant communication with the venues hosting inspire2coach courses and will advice you as early as possible of any disruption to our course calendar.
Inspire2coach and the venues we work with have all be risk assessed and we follow the COVID-19 guidance set out by the LTA and relevant authorities. For more information click through to the LTA information.
Update from 21/10/2020:
Restrictions could mean that if you are in a Tier 3 location you may be unable to attend a course in another county. If you live in an area that has restrictions introduced which mean that you cannot travel to your course venue, please contact CoachEd@i2ctennis.co.uk as soon as possible.
Please bear in mind that because of the changing and very fluid situation regarding local restrictions around the UK due to Covid-19, we are having to adapt, often at quite short notice, to any changes in government and LTA guidelines. You could be affected if:
- You are booked onto a forthcoming Level 1 or Level 2 tennis coaching course with inspire2coach between now and the end of 2020, OR
- You are attending a course which has already started, OR
- If you live or study in an area where the restrictions are different to those where the course is being held
We are working closely with the LTA, authorities and course venues to update course information as soon as new information is available.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
