INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES ON I2C LEVEL 1, 2, 3 AND 4 COURSES.
This information is valid for the rest of 2020 only and that details will change for 2021.
Since the lockdown was announced in March 2020, it is possible that some of your course prerequisites have lapsed, or that you were not able to complete some of the prerequisites because your Safeguarding or First Aid course or Play Test was cancelled.
With continued local lockdowns and national restrictions likely to be in place for the rest of 2020, it is possible that there will be some disruption and some changes to the courses we have advertised. We will communicate with you by email to announce any changes. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have an up to date email address for you, otherwise you may miss important information.
Our aim is to help you ensure that you have all the right prerequisites and documentation so that you can start your course without any delays or last-minute complications once we all return to tennis.
This table summarises the prerequisites you will need before you start each course.

DBS and Safeguarding
Please read the following information
Please note that your DBS must be done through the LTA. You do not need a DBS to attend a Level 1, but can instead complete a Deployment without DBS letter downloadable from https://i2ctennis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/UKCC-Level-1-deployment-letter-2014_2.pdf .
Along with everything else, First Aid courses due to be held during the lockdown period were cancelled until further notice. As a result, the LTA has temporarily changed the requirements on First Aid course attendance, meaning that you must now have completed your appropriate First Aid training by the end of your Coach Education course
First Aid courses are now being offered through a variety of providers around the UK for customers who plan to take a course with us in the future.
Guidelines on the right course can be found on our website.
Your inspire2coach course
Our Coach Education courses are now getting back to normal and we have started running our courses again. However, we can only do so within the national and local restrictions set out by the UK and Welsh government, and in accordance with LTA guidelines. These are subject to short notice changes, so please check your emails for any updates.
If you have any questions, please email our Coach Education department at CoachEd@i2ctennis.co.uk
