Book the Level 2, LTA Instructor Course
COVID-19 update (5/1/2021):
Unfortunately, the latest advice from the LTA and the government, requires that both indoor and outdoor tennis venues must now close to support efforts to control the spread of COVID.
If you have started a Coach Education course with inspire2coach, or have booked a course which is due to start during the lockdown period, we will reschedule the course once restrictions make it possible to resume training.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING. We will contact you when we have more information about the resumption and rescheduling of your course.
In the meantime, we invite you to take advantage of our continued offer of free membership of Tennis 24/7, our resource site for tennis coaches, parents and players. During lockdown we will be running online events and making resources available there to support coaches ongoing professional development.
From January 2021 the Level 2 qualification will be renamed the LTA Instructor. This tennis coaching qualification helps Level 1 Assistant Coaches improve their skills by developing areas including:
- Warm-ups
- Lesson structure
- Teaching progressions
- Core coaching skills
- Working with disabilities
The Level 2 course runs over 5 days. To begin the Level 2 course, BEFORE day 1, you must have a current and valid LTA DBS Disclosure (LTA DBS disclosure application). Learn more about the Level 2 course or see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). See additional information about course pre-requisites.
