Our team of talented tennis professionals have wide ranging backgrounds, but they are single-minded in their drive to provide you with an exceptional tennis experience.
Richard, our unstoppable super coach and founder, has a contagious energy and enthusiasm for coaching and business. His passion for tennis can clearly be seen when he’s on the tennis court.
Richard has been involved, at a high level, in many diverse tennis roles including working with high-level juniors, running tennis at a commercial centre, tutoring and presenting to coaches both in the UK and overseas.
Richard is a Level 5 coach and leads i2c’s large club programme business.
To relax after a full day of tennis, at the point when most of us are ready for the sofa, Richard heads off to chill-out with a round of golf!

Mark is a proud Londoner (is there any other sort?) and his first languages are French and English.
Before tennis found Mark, he wanted to work in Third World Aid and Development but he fell into tennis to repay university debts and he has never looked back. Mark says, “tennis takes me all around the world whilst other people are working!”
Before Mark and Richard formed inspire2coach (that’s another story and you can read it here), Mark worked at the LTA and ITF. He is an LTA Level 5 coach and qualified coach education tutor. His experience includes tutoring and presenting to coaches in nearly 100 countries around the world.
Mark’s philosophy;…..”if you want to be successful, spend time with successful people”.

Adam started playing tennis when he was 4 years old. He went on to a professional tennis career travelling worldwide.
Adam now leads i2c’s performance coaching programme from our Shrewsbury and Warwick bases. His impressive coaching career spans 15 years, including work with Nick Bollettieri and the LTA. Adam has a passion for learning and says his favourite player is Roger Federer, the purist’s choice!
We try not to judge, but when Adam is not playing tennis he’s probably feasting on Nandos or curry whilst watching “First Dates”!
Mel joined i2c part time in 2012, but it didn’t take us long to realise we needed Mel full-time! As an Area Manager, Mel manages several of our clubs and also spends time on court coaching and running our tots courses for tennis coaches.
Mel didn’t expect her Bachelor of Science degree (majoring in geology) to lead to a career in tennis, but here she is – and we’re glad!
Mel’s favourite player is Serena Williams; “the most inspirational sportswoman of all time and an incredible role model for all young girls today”.
Joe’s passion for tennis was ignited when she started playing tennis in her school days. She ran a very successful Tennis Coaching Business in the Wirral, Cheshire as well as being a Club Coach.
Whilst working as a Coach at Wirral Tennis & Sports Centre Joe became a Tutor for the LTA delivering a variety of courses and ultimately became the Centre’s Tennis Development Officer.
Multi-talented Joe is an LTA Level 4 Accredited+ coach and joined i2c 8 years ago. She is kept busy managing our extensive programme of Level 1 and Level 2 courses as well as tutoring and acting as an Internal Verifier for the Company.
Joe loves cooking, being outside; playing tennis (of course!), cycling and walking. In our humble opinion, Joe makes the world’s best chocolate cakes and strawberry and cream cakes!
Becky, an LTA Level 3 Accredited+ coach, joined i2c over 4 years ago as a level 2 tennis coaching apprentice. She now shines as i2c’s Coventry Area Manager; running our tennis programmes at Beechwood LTC, Rugby LTC & Nuneaton LTC.

Whilst studying Economics & Politics at University, Simon set up a wildly successful business managing tennis tournaments across the UK. His business was eventually responsible for 45 venues and almost 1,000 tournament a year!
Simon loves tennis and he works hard to instil a similar love for the sport in all players.
